Part 9

Knockout and Spite had been getting carried away in the medical bay, it began with a harmless tour given by Knockout and had ended up with both of them wrapped in one another's arms on a medical berth. They each had the others servos caressing over their glistening armour, the occasional claw would snag but it didn't bother either of them, breathlessly Spite broke away from the kiss and sat up with her legs wrapped around Knockouts waist,
"You're sure we won't be disturbed?" Spite asked as she turned and looked at the locked door,
"Spite, even if we were, it's been so long, I wouldn't care," Knockout sat up and grabbed hold of her head and pressed his lips onto hers again, landing back down against the berth with a crash.
Spite moaned slightly but they were both interrupted by an alarm sounding from the computer,
"Strange…" Knockout said as he gently pushed Spites kiss onto his neck and allowed her to continue while he spoke, "that's the Adversary's alarm, why would the Autobots be there already?"
Spite then sat bolt upright, "hold that thought," she said before opening up her comm. Link with Malice, "Mal, where are you?"
Knockout watched as Spite smiled, showing her perfectly polished teeth and letting out a bark of laughter, when the comm. Link ended, Spite shook her head,
"Problem?" Knockout asked as he traced his servo around her face and smiled,
"Mal went back to the Adversary," Spite explained,
"Why would she go back?" Knockout lifted Spite onto his knee as he swung his legs around so they were hanging from the berth,
Spite wasn't sure how to answer such a question, surely she couldn't tell Knockout about the stash of Cybertronian weapons and supplies Malice had hid on bard within the ships walls…
"Maybe she…" luckily Spite was cut off by Knockout asking another question,
"That brings up another point I have been thinking about," Knockout gently picked up Spite and lay her down on the berth, kissing her helm he walked over to the screen and speedily tapped in a few commands and brought up a picture of the Adversary, "I couldn't help but notice one of the shuttles are missing?" Knockout finally said as a flashing diagram of the small shuttle appeared on the screen,
"Oh that," Spite smiled and sat up again, "I've been waiting for the right moment to tell Lord Megatron, but I suppose I could run this by you first…"
"This sounds intriguing," Knockout purred as he gestured for Spite to come over and sit on his knee, Spite chuckled at the gesture and obediently walked over,
"Well my story starts on Cybertron, as you've probably gathered, Malice isn't the only other Cybertronian to call me her partner,"
"You mean Airachnid?" Knockout questioned,
"Yes. But also No," Spite responded in a matter-of-fact manner, "there was another femme who used to enjoy the chaos by my side, and she's probably my best partner to date, don't tell Malice," Spite playfully brought a claw to Knockouts lips and they both smiled,
"Who was it?" Knockout asked,
"Her name, is Kittystrike," Spite smiled as though saying the name had brought back fond memories, "I secretly gave her the shuttle once me and Malice had flown free of Cybertron,"
"How?" Knockout questioned, while looking shocked at the same time, "and without Malice knowing?"
"Let me explain…" Spite then told the story of what happened when she and Malice left Cybertron on Megatrons 'borrowed' ship…

*Spites story*
Malice and Spite had managed to get the Adversary a safe didstance from Cybertron, and Malice had worked out they had approximately one cycle before anyone would be in pursuit, that was long enough to decide weather or not they wanted to remain on the run with Kaons strongest war ship, or return it and hide before anyone realised it was them.
Malice had thought about returning the ship, and deep in her spark she knew it would be the wisest idea, but she also wanted to escape from the war and be free of Cybertron and its burden. She was franticly looking around for Spite to try and aid in the decision, time was of the essence and Malice wasn't thinking straight. Sadly, Spite was nowhere to be seen…
Spite was hiding away in the cargo bay of the Adversary, she had a comm. Link open with Kittystrike and the two of them were putting their plan into action,
"Of course we won't be returning, Malice wants to get away from this place just as much as us…" Spite paused and looked over her shoulder, making sure she was still alone before returning to the comm. Link, "Kitty, why don't you come with us? I know Mal can be hard to live with but she warms up to…"
"I'm more of an independent kind of femme, Spite, thanks for the offer, and best of luck on your journey,"
"Best of luck to you too, Kitty, right let me know when you're safely in the shuttle and I will detatch it from the inside without Malice being any wiser," Spite looked down the hallway just outside of the cargo hold,
"Thanks for everything, Spite, let me know if you find anywhere nice to call home again," Kittystrike said down her comm. Link just as she landed on the Adversarys shuttle, looking down she could see Cybertron hovering below them, she couldn't believe that she was finally leaving, "I'm entering the shuttle now,"
"Just on my way to the ejection point," Spite sounded breathless, she was obviously trying to move fast, "Okay are you all set?"
"All set," Kittystrike said instinctively before noticing the beeping light of the low fuel indicator above her head, "huh?" Kittystrike panicked as she then notice her shuttle detach from the Adversary, and it immediately began to hurtle it's way down to Cybertron, making a direct collision course into Kaons centre,
Spite watched the shuttle begin to fall and looked curious, "Kitty?" Spite asked down her comm. Link, but there was no response, "Kittystrike, you need to turn the thrusters on, Cybertrons gravity is bringing you back down," Spite checked the corridor for Malice, but then remembered, she couldn't ask Malice to help, not this time, she had to handle this on her own,
"I'm out of fuel, Spite! I'm going down," Kittystrikes voice finally said through the comm. Link before cutting to static, and then it was silent…
"Kittystrike…" Spite sighed, "no…" she whispered as she gently bumped her head against the window where the shuttle had been sat not long before,

*End Flashback*

"So you're not even sure if Kittystrike survived?" Knockout asked, sounding concerned,
"I wanted to find out, and I know how to, but I need access to the Adversary and Malice can't be around," Spite looked expectantly at Knockout who grinned,
"Leave it to me," he said slyly,
"Thankyou!" Spite shouted as she wrapped her arms around his neck and embraced him,
Knockout gently wrapped his arms around her waist, "you're welcome," he purred.
Suddenly the doors to the med bay opened and Breakdown walked in,
"It was locked!" Knockout said, sounding aggravated,
Breakdown made a disgusted face, "Yeah well next time put a sign up too, nobody wants to see that," he walked over to the computer and sat down,
"If you think a hug is bad, you should have been here earlier," Spite whispered while playfully stroking Knockouts chin and gazing into his optics, they both chuckled which made Breakdown sigh,
"I will come back and do this work later then…" he said, sounding aggravated as he stormed out of sight.
