I made a hyena family tree, lol. My Mwenye is the father of Shenzi. In rare cases a male can lead a hyena clan, only when the leading female dies and the highest ranking offspring is a son.I also made Shriek the father of Banzai. Their appearance are is similar to one another. I DO know that Sarafina killed and ate Banzai’s father in the song “Chow Down”. BUT I chose Shriek as his father, except he’s not same as he is in the comic Monkey Mountain. If that makes any sense?
like the name and appearance is the same, just not his story. And yes, I do believe that Shenzi and Banzai are Janja’s parents. Like I said with Mwenye, Janja could be Shenzi’s highest ranking offspring. Also liked the idea of Ed being the father of Chezzi, add a red nosed female and boom you get Chezzi.
AND YES, the hyenas actually have brown fur. You can only see it (I think) during the stampede scene. That’s where Shenzi’s photo came from.
Was kind enough to let me use her version of Cheezi’s mother and Ed’s mate. She is a really beautiful hyena.

Yeah that’s a good point. I think I like the idea of them being like very close friends. I have to work on my story a little more. Originally I had Mwenye be the one to manipulate Scar, but now I’ve changed that to him being a kind hyena.
I think I’m gonna have the trio all from the same pack, but some things happen? I’m not sure how to go about it. cx
