My entry for the group's monthly activity
Theme: Queen
I draw a queen Ruri being a nine-tailed gumiho, powerful, beautiful and sweet.
When the gumihos reach their nine tails they change their fur to white or gold, you can see that she inherited the white, soft and pompous tails of her gumiho mother, Ahri, and still keeps strands of fur brown color as well as her hair, inheritance of her human mother , Nadia.
I really love making this design.

Dibuje a una reina Ruri siendo ya una gumiho de nueve colas, poderosa, bella y dulce.
Cuando los gumihos alcanzan sus nueve colas estos cambian su pelaje a blanco o dorado, se puede ver que heredo las blancas, suaves y pomposas colas de su madre gumiho, Ahri, y aún conserva mechones castaños al igual que su cabello, herencia de su madre humana, Nadia.
Realmente me encanto hacer este diseño.

Wow, she looks more than just elegant, I'd say she looks divine! Though, the tails and floating may contribute just as much as the hair, clothes, and magic. I mean, Nadia and Ahri are her parents, so it makes sense that she inherited their good looks, but...her people are lucky to have a kind and gorgeous queen.
I really like her clothes, but her hair alone is very majestic--and I like all the little flowers in it. The fox face on her skirt is really meaningful to her role as the foxy queen and the hearts would indicate her benevolence. And I really, really like the gold on her cape, that symbolizes her sheer awesomeness! Umm, if the magic didn't tip anyone off. XD
Speaking of her magic, can Ahri do that with hers, does Ahri just not want to do that or hasn't thought of it, or is Ruri just especially powerful?

I'm really happy with this drawing. See my pretty little foxy as a divine queen.
I especially liked to put those little details such as bracelets, hearts, star and the fox face.
Yes, Ahri is very powerful, she can also do the same, use her magic to levitate, move slightly and manipulate those magic orbs.

I love how much purple you added to her appearance, too, aside from just the magic. The green gem is also really cool, all the little details you added--especially all of those flowers!--are really impressive.
I figured Ahri passed on her powers, but just hasn't been drawn like that yet--Ruri probably needed some help mastering her abilities, I can imagine them training together. I'd forgotten about that gif, but it really does exemplify her powers, she looks so awesome there.

Surely Ruri had to practice a lot to control her magic, perhaps she's not as powerful as her mom gumiho since Ruri is half human but I think she has nothing to envy her nine-tailed-mother. jeje

Hehe, I bet Ahri usually holds back, so Ruri looks like a very powerful kitsune, buuuut she's actually the second most powerful. Even Ruri might believe that she's stronger than Ahri, up until something happens and Ahri shows the world what she's really capable of...not that it actually matters who's strongest, beyond idle curiosity, and their greatest strength would actually be in the ability to fight together, play up each other's strengths and make up for weaknesses.

I believe that Ruri must have a particular strength, since she have all the magic of Ahri and at the same time she is immune to things that would be bad to gumihos, for her human part.
The true strength of Ahri and Nadia is seen when they fight together.

It's only fair that she'd be less powerful than the one she inherited her gumiho side from, to make up for receiving such a huge help from her human mother, but then, if Ruri's potential for magic is greater than usual thanks to Ahri's power, Ruri would easily rank among the most powerful of the gumiho.

They might think that she is actually weak because of her hybrid nature but it is really practical for her to have the best from her moms, without a doubt she would be very powerful.
