It isn't completely about crossdressing, it was mostly just that one episode (though there is an episode similar in the sequel), and it has a fairly dark theme to it. I haven't seen traps before, but I'm supposing Kuroshitsuji is different from it. It's still a very good anime, though. You should give it a try.
