EDIT on May 26, 2008: Yup, it's a remake. A seriously needed one, too.I regret to see that Artemis still looks different in every panel - the only one I'm satisfied with is #2 Yeah. Well. Someday I promise I'll sit down and draw so many hands that I will never ever draw crappy hands ever again.
What is it about Minerva that makes me dress her in light blue every time, I wonder?
Apart from the fact that she's blonde. September 14, 2006: I read TLC and had exactly that feeling. In the begining Minerva (the screaming girl) was cool, and a believable genius, but then it gets worse and worse untl she starts to scream at random!
I was VERY pissed off. go launch a complaint at your author, Arty...
And I humbly dedicate this to ~xXxAmyxXx who got me to submit it (the original version) No background though. Not THAT enthusiastic.
Go and read the books!!! they're GREAT!!!

Whaha. I feel the familiar joy of being an AXH fan girl, and I am amazingly glad that Minerva has carried on her way to having a romance with an alpine skier. (It's very true. Not just some rumor that I managed to scout at wikipedia, like so many people do these days. You can see it on Colfer's Twitter. All our hatred paid off, I guess.)

LOL really? I have to admit I kind of lost interest in the Fowl series after TLC. I didn't even buy TTP, just read it in the bookstore. somehow, the more recent books in that series feel incomplete and rushed to me, as if Colger is just writing them to make money now. if I hadn't known better, I would have thought the time paradox was a fanfiction. a very GOOD fanfiction, but so not what I'd loved in the original books! so, I'm not really following the fandom itself as much as I used to.
an alpine skier sounds like a good match for the minnie girl though.

She was likable enough in the beginning as a rival. Only a rival. But once inside their chateaux, we all saw her bratty side. Honestly. I generally like the characters, but she is just too much. Hell, I even liked Ark Sool as a book character; he performed his role well.

I thought she was boring even as rival, Spiro was a lot better. However, I gotta admit that the whole book really wasn't what I've come to love about the artemis fowl series... just far too much obvious fanservice.

Totally right. I too keep comparing her how Arty was at her age. Artemis do not approve of emotions running high on his countenance. Even if he suffers from childish piques, he does not throw tantrums.
