Happy pride month!

Last year I wasn't sure if it's okay if I post something for pride month. This year... I just do it.

Life is colorful and so are people, love and sexuality. I just wish everyone well no matter how they feel about it.

That being said, just a quick word about the picture:
I find that every time I draw digitally, I do it differently. I never know beforehand in which direction my style will go. Well, that keeps it exciting.

The dancing, upbeat, joyful fits very well to one of my characters: Amayla. She is an angel from my story "Split of the worlds", an enhancer, a kind of healer. She is extroverted, loves to be close to others, has an engaging personality and is always up for a good time. She is also bi, which you might be able to tell by the colors of her dress. For all these reasons, she seemed like a good choice to dance through pride month.
(Anyone reading my story: She doesn't appear until Chapter 15, so you may not know her).
Unfortunately, I'm still missing some aspects of her appearance, such as what exactly her face looks like. Therefore I decided to use a rather abstract style.
Oh, and I learned that I'm really bad at illustrating feet...
Nevertheless, I hope you like my little motley compilation!

Fröhlichen Pride Month!

Letztes Jahr war ich mir nicht sicher, ob es in Ordnung ist, wenn ich etwas für den Pride Month poste. Dieses Jahr... tu ich es einfach.
Das Leben ist bunt und so sind Menschen, die Liebe und die Sexualität. Ich wünsche einfach jedem alles Gute, egal wie er es in dieser Hinsicht hält.

Das gesagt, noch kurz zum Bild:
Ich stelle fest, jedes Mal wenn ich digital zeichne, mache ich es anders. Ich weiß vorher nie, in welche Richtung mein Stil gehen wird. Tja, damit bleibt es wohl spannend.

Das Tanzende, Beschwingte, Fröhliche passt sehr gut zu einem meiner Charaktere: Amayla. Sie ist ein Engel aus meiner Geschichte "Weltenbruch", eine Erhebende, eine Art Heilerin. Sie ist extrovertiert, liebt es, anderen nah zu sein, hat eine einnehmende Persönlichkeit und ist immer zum Späße machen bereit. Zudem ist sie bi, was man vielleicht an den Farben ihres Kleides sehen kann. Aus all diesen Gründen schien sie mir eine gute Wahl, um tanzend durch den Pride Month zu ziehen.
(Wer meine Geschichte liest: Sie kommt erst in Kapitel 15 vor, daher könnt ihr sie nicht kennen.)
Leider fehlen mir noch einige Aspekte ihres Aussehens, zum Beispiel wie genau ihre Gesichtszüge sind. Daher habe ich mich für einen eher abstrakten Stil entschieden.
Oh, und ich habe gelernt, dass ich echt schlecht darin bin, Füße darzustellen...
Trotzdem hoffe ich, dass euch meine kleine kunterbunte Zusammenstellung gefällt!
