Here's a beetle ive never seen before, way different, enjoy!update:
i enquired about this and the local uni so i know what it is now!!
"Tortoise Shell beetle" which belongs to the Order Coleoptera ( Beetles and Weevil), Family: Cassidinae. Generally the species is leaf feeders of palms, sedges and some grasses
