Mitoraj's sculptural style is rooted in the classical tradition with its focus on the well modelled torso. However, Mitoraj introduces a post-modern twist with ostentatiously truncated limbs, emphasising the damage sustained by most genuine classical sculptures.[link]

I like Mitoraj's sculptures for well that it he shapes the human figures. I suppose that also he is tired too of so many abstract figures.

La estatua ya es muy expresiva, se adivinan las vendas tapΓ‘ndole los ojos y el hecho de que tu incluyeras esa sombra a su espalda en tu composiciΓ³n, le da aΓΊn mucho mΓ‘s sentido. Me encanta el enfoque!! Muy bien!!

Me gusta el enfoque (no de enfocar) que les das a las esculturas, parece que hubieran sido humanas antes.
