Mars with Percival Lowell's Canals, and cities! I'm doing this for a little video project. I didn't want o use the old boring and realistic Mars picture so I cooked this up in an hour.Related content

I remember drawing a Lowellian Mars in the 90s with markers; only I made the dark areas green, I drew it with markers, and didn't go into so much detail.
Also, this reminds me vaguely of a the desert planet of these lizard-like people in the intro video of this obscure 90s 4X game, Ascendancy.
Anywhoo, good work. Too bad the real Mars is a boring (virtually?) lifeless rust-colored empty wasteland.
