Description
Fang and Max, the Mom and Dad of the Flock. These are our Maximum Ride cosplays sans la wings, because this was more or less a test shoot for the wigs/outfits we had for these two. We plan to do alot more with these characters once we make our wings
We are cosplaying from the book, not from the manga, hence why Fang's hair is short (like in the book, except for MAYBE the very beginning) and why Max's hair is brown.

you two should read the earlier Maximum ride books When the wind Blows and Lake House... Max looks soo different in those two, and fang doesn't exist yet, instead she life bonds with one called Ozymandius

Actually, that is a different Max. James Patterson states at the beginning of all the Maximum Ride books that that Max and the Max in MR are two different people. But they do sound like interesting books so we might read them ^_^

Yeah I can tell their different, in the others she has white feathers with blue tips, in the maximum ride she is tan with speckles XD ^_^ but still, they have the same personality.

but Max was blonde in books. it was stated in the 2nd book that she was indeed blonde.

Book 1 she has brown hair and then gets short blonde hair with pink streaks. Book 2 says she has brown hair with blonde streaks. Book 3 was the one that says she has blonde hair. Book 4 was back to brown with blonde streaks. Not to mention her ethnic background really does make it impossible for her to have natural blonde hair.

That is only 1 book out of 4 that say she is blonde and if you know anything about genetics, you would know that her Hispanic background would put any blonde gene into recession. I'm not saying you are wrong. I'm just saying that the majority of the time, she is described as having brown hair, which makes more sense biologically.
