This is ok.
He's paws... stubs... thingys are my favorite part.
He's fur and face look pretty good.

Just popping in From Project Comment. This picture does a wonderful job at walking that fine line between cartoonish and creepy. At first glance the creature looks more like a house cat, but as you look close and closer you start to realise there's something more sinister going on. The horns look like cat ears from a distance, and it's only on closer inspection that their true nature becomes clear. This gives the picture a sinister atmosphere, as the viewer is at first drawn into a false sense of security only to be taken off guard as the more obviously grotesque aspects become apparent. The contrasting use of black and white for the colour scheme is also effective. In juxtaposition to the stark white background the black seems deeper and more ominous, like a gaping hole or void. The relative lack of detail in that area invites the viewer's imagination to run wild, filling in the blanks.

The creature itself shows a lot of personality, hunching over as though itβs getting ready to pounce. The way it's peering over its shoulder implies itβs carefully monitoring its surroundings, making the image more engaging than if it had been passively sitting there. This is a very good picture and a strong effort all round.Β

oh this is absolutely brilliant. i love the spikes, the shapes, the anatomy, the lineart, if you were to ask me what my favorite part about it is, i'd gesture to the entire image
