Update: This beuty died last night...
16/6/12My crowntail betta. When I first got him he looked like this, but now he's dulled to a reddish grey... :/

yeah, my current delta female is purple/blue she is so funny. she has bitten me, and now lives in our 30 gallon community tank with half a dozen tetras XD

His body's a little pale, but since his fins are red I think you could safely call him red

Thanks ALOT... I had considered him being a cambodian for his pale body and red fins, but it didnt seem to fit...
Even wierder when I change his water he turns grey for about 5 minutes then goes back to his normal colouring... Is THAT normal???

That sounds bizare=/ Maybe it's something to do with the water conditions?
Or, maybe he just gets mad... I read bettas change colour(slightly) depending on thier mood...
