this is an exquisite render. everything is where and how it should be. And it's on a large paper too. Must be really somehing when seen for real.
What "hardware" did you use? Because if I didn't know this was traditional drawing, I could have bet it was a digital painting. that shading is just perfect.

This is marvelous, the tone, the colors, the atmosphere, the expressions in their faces.

The figures of the characters are sweet, and I love those clouds. Amazing job.

Okay.. I draw a TON and i've been told that i'm an amazing artist when I feel like it. and I never have time to post my junk on DA because i'm never really home to scan much of it. But I was wondering.. how do you color your sketches/art because i've never been too sure how people go about it. Do you photoshop? Or pastel? and does it just come with ime or what. ha. Sorry for the bother. I would much like to start adding color to my sketches though and i'm unsure how to go about it without ruining the sketch.

You can scan your sketches and then if you have photoshop start coloring from there. If you have a tablet that might help a lot. Or if you are just a master in photoshop you may not even need that.

Check this artist out: she first sketches her drawings and then scans them, passing them onto a computer. After doing so she has her own techniques for coloring and well... she does the job.

Or, you could just directly paint into the computer, which is for me slightly more difficult but every artist has its own method. And that is for the digital means.

For traditional means, well you can just choose the correct paper for what you are going to work on and then just paint on it. Personally I work much better on traditional means but I'm trying to expand to digital means although it takes me a lot of work.

Oh and you can also use other programs such as corel painter and the like, whichever you choose!

Hope this helps!

ah cool! Yeah, it's absolutely insane the shading that's added to some of the pics with coloring. That actually helped a ton! Keep up wit the awesome art work. Thanks
