Wow, this is an amazing painting. I love the vibrant colors, the different textures, and the incredible detail in each component of your piece. I like how the lighting from above highlights her face and how the snake skin seems to be a part of her, although a closer inspection seems to indicate that she may be wearing the snake skin and headdress. I find it fascinating to be able to see the inner workings of the side of her head, but can't tell if it's part of the snake skin headdress or actually part of her body. I really love the complexity of this image.

I forgot to add that she reminds me of a seer with her pose and her headdress. Does the symbol on her forehead mean anything?

Krikey! As always, very lifelike textures, and wonderfully surreal themes. Reminds me a lot of Medusa, or some other similar ancient serpentine god. The inner workings of the jaw are pretty ingenious, like a machine! You are very inspiring. What is the piece for? Is it part of another project?
