Jellyfish are a hard target. They move constanty and are never well lit as far as the camera is concerned, however bright the aquarium looks. They are also usually kept in tanks with azure blue walls. I think the black backropund really sets this one off perfectly. The form and colour are so gorgeous it must be favoured. This is my jellyfish collection [link] , although three of those aren't really jellfish. If you look you'll see what I mean about the faux marine blue backround.

I'm really glad that you like it!! I know exactly what you mean about the blue background, I always find that it can make jellyfish photos seem quite repetitive, so I was thrilled that this aquariums backgrounds were different. Thanks a lot for the comment and fave.

I can't decide whether to eat it, or stand in front of its tank and stare for hours. WAS it in a tank? Or were you SCUBA DIVING!!?!?! (In which case I would turn around and swim away as fast as I could.)
Incredible, it really does look like an egg, with the yolk running everywhere. I can almost see it moving now as I look at it.

I want to hug it. I know that's bad, but still.
I love the contrast of the darkness with the vibrant yellows. Even what I think is red/brown algae seems to compliment the image. It's like you captured the creature in a timeless moment but it still manages to dance softly in my mind.
I don't know if you have a HD version of this, but if you did I'd say this is something you'd def want to print and sell on your own or to sell at museums/aquatic places for posters/magazine inserts.
The only drawback I can see in the whole image is you missed out part of the creature's body. It would be nice to see a full shot of it to see how the tendrils end.

This is a wonderful photo I love the vibrant colours against the black background, just the edges in the middle part could be a tad bit more sharp
I seriously wish this would be stock

(Oh gosh I am the absolute worst at replying!! Sorrry)
Thanks heaps for the comment <3 I'm glad you like it!! I think I might try having a play around with it and see if I can get it looking a bit more sharp.
I would be more than willing to let you, or anyone else, use it as stock if you would like (as long as I am credited and blah blah)

I hope it turns out how you want it to :> Make sure to show me once you are finished!! I'm looking forward to seeing it.
Um I'm not sure about selling it though. I guess it really depends on how dominant my photo is in the manip? I'll make up my mind once you've made it.
