Resident Evil: InceptionSo, if you don't know, I love Resident Evil. I've been there since the beginning (well, okay, not the very beginning, but since 2), and although I love the Resident Evil movies (I don't care what you say, 1 and 3 were awesome. 2 was okay) they're not really adaptations of the Resident Evil games, just action packed zombie movies that use the RE title.
I'm not the only one who wants a reboot of the series. I've written a spec script for the first film, which I call Inception, and I've written up the stories for films 2 and 3, tentatively titled Corruption and Salvation (damn you, Terminator 4).
I can't reveal any details, you know, on the off chance I get to make the movies. Sorry, but Hollywood won't take scripts that have already been spoiled on the internet.

I myself didn't really like the movies at all (not counting the new one that came out that had Leon and Claire in it), they didn't have anything to do with the games, other then zombies and some characters from the games in it. Alice for me was the main thing that ruined it, fist fighting the Nemesis and Tyrant O_o. PSYCHIC POWERS O_O!
Anyway *cough* I really like the cast you picked, and the poster looks really real. I really wish I could read you're script, but I understand why you wouldn't want people to read it.

i agree they do need to reboot the series i mean after re 2 they crashed at arkalah mansion but then it wond up in las vegas

I've got no disrespect to you or your opinion, beacuse I looked at your casting stuff for the RE games, and I loved them(better than the other one I looked at) but I liked the 2nd movie (RE movie) better than the 1st one. So to me the 2nd and 3rd were the best. But I agree, the movies didnt relate to the games at all. The only thing they had in comon with the games were the monsters, and even then they didnt look the same. (the lickers looked different). SO I think that a remake of the movies would be a good idea.

Personally, I think the first one is the best. The third one isn't a very good sequel to the other two, buts its a good movie on its own. The problem I have with the second one is that it tries to stay closer to the game plot, and fails miserably. Nemesis and Jill are pale shadows of what they should have been (Nemesis especially.) If you're going to stick to the story, do it justice. Otherwise, do what you did the first time and just make up a new story.
They're making a fourth movie that'll come out in a year or two, which is hopefully followed by some down time from the series. In another six years a reboot of the series is a given, what with the reboot Hulk got after only five years and the reboot Planet of the Apes is getting after just seven. Of course by that time most of my cast will be too old or too popular for their roles.

I dont think the 1st movie was the best one. Although I think it would of been better if they would of stayed in the mansion...ya know. Kinda make it like the 1st game. I just dont think they should of made the Hive underground.
In the 2nd on, there were some parts that you would pin-pont to be from the game, but I agree, it didnt pertray the game that well.
I've heard rummors about the making of of the 4th movie, but then I read something that makes me doubt that they will make a 4th movie. It said something about bringing back "L.J." But if you watched the 3rd movie, you would know that he's dead. Now I'm not saying that they wont make a 4th movie, cause they left the 3rd ending as like a cliffhanger, I'm just not holding my breath.
