I cut 2 layers for the "colour" so...for example, I cut the yellow, green and red square onto one layer and the blue, pink and light blue onto a sepperate sheet of cardboard and covered the colours I wasn't spraying..if that makes any sense?
So, basically I cut as many colours out on each layer as possible and covered them as I sprayed so they wouldn't mix. I can take photos of the layers and post links if your interested

I think in Australia we get the one with coloured bars, but this one looked way better so I chose it instead. Thanks buddy
