Well, yes, in terms of a cell shaded look, I don't think this is very much at all but what you ended up with does far better then even that would have! So cheer up, this came out fantastic regardless of what you were trying to go for! Like a "happy accident" that came out better then you set out to do!

Oh yeah, Cell shading is very great but I think your work is a bit "too" detailed for cel shading. Try to limit the colors you use for it on the shading. More a flater appearance overall.
