Official Star Crossed Wolves book cover for FanFiction, is finally done! Wahoo!
Right, don't know if anyone noticed but I changed the picture by adding the Japanese kanji symbols. I meant to do it before, but I was so excited to get it posted that I forgot.
Anyway, don't translate the writing because it tells a major spoiler 
Why I did it in Japanese it because both games were made from Japan. At least I thinkZelda originated from Japan... Haha anyway...

I have worked on this for approximately the last 9 days. I learned so much from doing this, but it was very challenging. Doing real fur with no real wolf picture reference is very tricky
what I mean is I didn't copy draw them like I did my other fur realism picture, I just had to wing it! I re colored Link about 3 times over. Ammy was really fun and easy compared to him. His multi colored fur was very tricky. But i' am happy with the final results. Please tell me what you think, and leave a comment! Any criticism, tips, or comments would be greatly appreciated.

I have considered writing the sequel, I have a rough idea of the story if I do, or I might just post my rough draft for those who are interested. I've also had a couple people ask to write the sequel, so we'll see x)Β
I'll let you in on some details since you asked: In the sequel her pups would get to meet their father, that would be the heart of the story. The girl pup resembles Link, except she has amber eyes like Ammy. Chibi, as we know from Okamiden, looks like Ammy but would have Link's blue eyes.

I looked at Β your sketch, and it's quite nice! As long as you keep drawing you will get better and improve, that is inevitable. I wouldn't worry about becoming "better" before posting more, don't let that hold you back from sharing your work. Keep drawing, keep improving, and keep posting

Hey Johnwolf234! I'm assuming you are the same person from FanFiction yeah? First off, what art programs do you have at your disposal? For example, making a story cover with Paint will be a lot different than with Photoshop.

if you are still even listening, yes I'm the same Johnwolf as fanfiction, and my supply of Photo-editing programs extends to a piece of paper, a pencil, a camera and Photoscape.

I'm not sure the extent of Photoscape, but I think what really matters is what style your going for.
Pencil could make a great comic style cover or a more rugged style. Depending on how you want to represent you're story any style of pencil could look wicked.
Computer art on the other hand has potential to make really nice crisp official and professional looking covers, with brighter coloring and more available styles (depending on the abilities of the program).
When it comes down to it though, I think it's more about the time, effort, thought, and the translation of the story into the cover, that matters. Not so much the program. I hope that helps, and I'm sorry if it didn't. Feel free to ask me anything else if need be (:

The picture looks great, it seems like the art program your using should do you just find for making a cover. I'm a fan of Balto myself so I'll defiantly check out your fanfic when I have the time. Is there anything else I can assist you with?
