Description Okay - these are actually test renders done in Cinema 4D R11 - OMG yes I went and bought it! It's rendering speed is actually quite fast - I noticed that the newer render settings also have settings VERY similar to VRay Irradiance Caching and GI. So yeah - I am happy!

Download if you want it for your desktop. Enjoy!

I will take care of it tonight after my classes - I got real mad with all the downloads and runs one day - I was wanting feedback on a couple of the pics and even put that in the write-up and apparently no one read it or just flat out didn't care.

I had R10.5 - yes there is a completely new GI and Radiosity engine it appears - or at least a new interface - the speed and methodology of the renders are somewhat reminscent of VRay - including many of the settins on the render engine. Not "quite" as powerful as VRay I think - but definitely getting there - I will still be keeping my 10.5 running so that i can use VRay on some renders

This scene with reflectivity, GI and Radiosity all turned up to the max, size of 2500 x 2000 pixels and a 300 DPI resolution rendered in less than 15 minutes - so yeah - that was fast

Nice, are the different colours rendered seperately, or is it one imagine modified in Photoshop

Thanks Matt - actually it is one image that rendered a little dark (gamma settings changed a little bit in R11 it seems) so I knew it needed adjustment so I ran it through Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 and liked several of the previews on different settings and that is when I came up with the idea of the wallpapers lol. Originally I wasn't even gonna upload at all - I was just playing lol.

Theres a way you can have all differnet colours in one big wallpaper pack, thus only need ing one deviation (which is better, since you'll have one version get all the faves, instead of four having to "share" them) Simply put them in all in a zipped folder, upload that, then choose your favoured one as the "preview image

yeah - something about laoding them in a .zip file then uploading that as an additional file I may do that at some point in time
