Last year for pride month I did a picture-a-day (and sometimes More) every day of June and that was very taxing. so this year I’m doing one main comic and story and if I do more it’s because I felt well enough to do more.

This has been something that isn’t exactly a spur of the moment thing though it is still a fairly new change. My Flowey has almost always been genderqueer though more in the sense on they have no idea on what to make of it

There is a story I am still working on that goes with this since this is a very condensed summary of what happens in that talk with Cagney.

The story version of this will be put in the chronological list but when this takes place is pretty much very shortly after the two have had their fourth child, Flowey forcibly got Cagney flower-neutered, Ash and Cedar were found out to be Cagney’s pre-Flowey-relationship kids

Though I think it would be before Cagney was forced to pay his soul debt, became half demon, rescued and that demon (Mazikeen the thistle) who captured him ending up reforming and joining the group. So this would also be taking place Before Cagney and Cory started Floral Unus Annus. In the ones I have already drawn which I don’t think is many, any where Flowey’s refereed to as he/him would just have happened to have been filmed on days they were ok/more comfortable identifying as that.

Now because this is a relatively new change - I didn’t start coming up with this AU back in Dec 2016/Jan 2017 with the thought that Flowey would eventually end up identifying as they/he and be genderqueer/nonbinary. Actually fun fact in the very early days before I knew I would end up with a ton of more flower ocs Flowey was actually originally going to be cis-male and ace. However that began to just feel wrong - specially after looking more into plants/flowers and how most are multisexed.

Long ramble short-ish? that would be why in all stories/pictures before this event there are pretty much no hints or suggestions that Flowey would end up using they/he (and mostly they) However in some future ones that take place before this moment I will try and make sure to include hints and suggestions towards this. and also ones taking place during the times Flowey went by she/her. The same goes for any rp threads or asks taking place at various points in the timeline.
