My 'original' Battle of Reach picture has been getting quite some attention lately, so i messed a bit around with it in photoshop. added, edited and improved some things. I'm not sure wich one i like better...First version: [link]

ah i love the pelican thats on fire and the banshee firing in the far backround, bit too much enemy fire, but other than that <3 also the direction the enemys fire is coming from is kinda off to me

one more thing, the spartan firing duel wepons of somesort, dosen't look right

i agree. This one's a little too busy and colorful, but it shows more of a war and the other one seems a bit empty now. I think i prefer the other one myself too.
Thought i'd upload this one as well, but it's not a replacement

I think, that maybe if you toned the colour down a bit, maybe give it a brownish tinge, it would fit in better with the overall image. That's cool ^^ Still, nice job!

Much better in terms of action. However I feel you may have over done it and made the image a little too busy, because I don't really know where to focus.
I think it comes from the 3 spartans and Hunter in the background, which, upon closer inspection seem to be out of proportion with the pelicans.
Still a delicious image, but I feel it could do without the hunter/background spartans.

this is more of a battle with the oncoming fire.seeing the other version it looks like something is missing when compared with this.
