It is said that this Pokemon came into existence in a big forest fire. Myths say that a tree refused to let the flames destroy it entirely. So the life power of nature and the destroying power of fire tried to gain the upper hand. In a long fight these opposite forces melted into this creature.

Embarks live deep in the forests. Not much is known about them. Only travellers who are brave enough to enter the swamp forests at night might get the chance to see the embers glowing eerily in the dark on Embarks head. But beware following these lights has lead many people into their demise entrapped in the swamp.
