Applin (Ostrik Cave form)
Type: Rock/Dragon
Ability: Weak Armor/Salty Crust - It's salty crust makes it resistent to ice and make its rock type moves super effective against ground type Pokemon.
Evolves by learning Rock Polish
In the Ostrik region you can encounter two different forms of Applin. The better known ones have a taste for apples and live in them. The other form is known for their love of salty meals. Loving salt so much some of the Applins invaded the salt mines and bit their way into salt crystals.
If those rare Applins leave the mines you can easily see their tracks. Melting ice and drying out the ground it crawls along. This makes it easy for predators to find them. Because of this those Applins hardly ever leave the caves/mines they live in.
