The whole reason our company was started in the first place was to help people develop. To grow and change and hopefully, grow comfortable and happily adjusted to their own bodies. It's not surprising that many of us simply aren't happy with how we look. However, with technologies we've created, and scientific breakthroughs, these dreams have quickly become reality. The realisation that we can change the body in drastic and life altering ways has meant our requests have changed from simple changes to really exuberant and out there alterations. It's hard to tell if these are fads or spur of the moment type things, but we can always tell when someone is serious about a treatment. Ms. Vanessa was one such client. She'd contacted us a few times, asking about prices for treatments and how much certain elements would cost. She'd consistently enquired about a wolf treatment. However, with the high costs of these treatments, her requests had gotten smaller and smaller. Unfortunately, for what she could afford, all we could offer her were ears and a tail. A far cry from her initial request. We always try to be accessible with what we offer, but our treatments are expensive, and often difficult to afford. For this reason, many people request to be subjects for us, but even then, that never guarantees an exact change. It would seem like Ms. Vanessa would, for now, just have to settle with the minimum.

Her treatment was given to Dr. Summers, who had looked over her files and immediately saw the sheer number of requests Ms. Vanessa had put in. She also noticed how ears and a tail were a far cry from what she'd initially been looking for. It bothered her that we weren't able to give Ms. Vannessa what she was truly after. She explained the situation to Dr. Grey in the break room, voicing her concerns to a friend (and supervisor). Dr. Grey merely chuckled, placed a hand on her shoulder, and explained to her that sometimes, in our field, they'd simply have to get creative. Dr. Grey then offered to take over Ms. Vanessa's treatment. A couple of weeks later, Ms. Vanessa was called in to visit Dr. Grey and to have her treatment carried out. With a warm smile, Dr. Grey administered the injection. Before long, Ms. Vanessa began to change. Thick fluffy ears began to grow from atop her head. A wild busy tail pushes outward from her spine. However, it was clear the changes weren't finished yet. Her teeth shifted, growing slightly more pointed and canine-like. Hands shifted to paws and sharp claws, fur running up her forearms and shins. Her skin paled slightly, taking on a softer, finer pelt. Fur bustled around her neck, completing her change into a much more complete wolf hybrid. Ms. Vanessa seemed ecstatic about the changes, but was confused with how they'd happened. Dr. Grey only chuckled, explaining they must've mixed up the vials. A clumsy mistake on his part. He also explained that as it was a mistake, if she needed or desired any further alterations, the Laboratory would be fully liable to correct their silly mistake. Ms. Vanessa didn't seem to think that would be necessary.

As Dr. Grey and Dr. Summers watched Ms. Vanessa leave to return home, the angry sound of doors being slammed open could be heard. Dr. Grey shoos Dr. Summers off, before turning to face the angry rage of Dr. Masters. In his typical manner, Dr. Grey simply smiles and apologises. "How clumsy of me." I admire the man's approach, and I honestly wish I knew more men like him, but he is going to get in serious trouble with the board if he continues this behaviour. I only hope I can help him in that regard when the time comes...
