A lot of people don't know that our very own Ms. Belle has a passion for cars and driving. She owns an old classic car herself and enjoys going to car shows and the like. It's something that always surprises me about her. Recently an opportunity arose for her to participate in a cross country classic car rally, something she was ecstatic about. She reached out to Ms. Taylor, her friend and an experienced mechanic, and the two raced to put together an older vehicle that would qualify for the event. The two have told me it was an amazing event and that they had a lot of fun, but that the Old Mini they put together had some overheating issues. Ms. Taylor later told me that she didn't expect Ms. Belle to have such a heavy foot! I didn't expect our resident shy girl to have such a competitive streak behind the wheel!

I'm sure they'd love to compete next year. And now they have more time to prepare a better vehicle! It's always nice to see Ms. Belle come out of her shell a little and blow off some steam... though not sure Ms. Taylor agrees with that last part...
