I really like the slight squaring to some of the spirals in there, it adds a nice contrast & really draws you into the image & makes you look at all the interesting little details... like the little "gears" for instance.
I've seen some really cool looking designs come from FE lately & I have to say I really like what it can produce. This is a terrific fractal, gorgeous colors & fantastic design. And I love the background !

That is actually my favourite part of this piece. And to be honest, it was totally not planned - it was one of those 'happy mistakes!'.

I'm really enjoying FE for now. I assume I'll move on to something else, or back to Apo in a while, but for now, I find it easy to use, and I feel like I'm producing some unique work in it. It's free, hard to install, and a bit glitchy (crashes from time to time) - but I find it very self-explanatory to use. Let me know if you try to use it, and I can give you some install tips first, as there are a few things you need to do to get it installed properly that you might not find on the web. Personal opinion leads me to let you know I prefer round fractals to be encased in a square rather than a rectangular background. But that's just me.

Thanks, Natalie. You raise a really excellent point about the image size. I rarely think about it, to be honest, and tend to use the same params all the time. I seem to have forgotten that changing these numbers can give the image a totally different perspective and feel. Thanks for that too!
