It's like looking over a regal building like the taj mahal. I love the illuminating feeling i get from this. It's almost like I got caught in the rain--because of the dusty, dull nature of the colors-- and in the distance there's a building lite up like a star. It's very beautiful. It's like a fractal version of a french painting I've seen where the people are running from the rain. Love it absolutely.

Thanks Eva. Glad you like it. I was wondering if the piece was too washed out and delicate to post. I'm glad I did!

Oh my goodness! This is beautiful!!! (Sorry Mr. Pratchett for the multitude of -!'s) I love the colors, and the background of tiles, and the colors, and the mandala form, and the colors, and the title. Did I mention that the colors are amazing? They are. I will now stare at this and ease my soul for a while.

A Pratchett fan are you? I read Going Postal just a while back. Someday I will get back to Discworld!! But seriously, I think you could have said a bit more about the colours....sorry for the late reply, Elaine (out of town all day yesterday with my son at his new college). Take care!!

Terry Pratchett is so funny while being so insightful. His are the only books that make me laugh out loud.
My younger daughter leaves on the first of September for her first year of college. She picked the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Real winters should prove interesting for her. I wonder if the novelty will wear thin?

Interesting. Ann Arbor, Michigan, and the town I live in, Peterborough, Ontario, are 'sister' cities!
Everyone needs to experience at least one full, real, winter!! She will love it!!

Thanks PH. There is more definition in my local copy, but such is the finicky world of posting pics on the internet!!
