Wow! The colors and composition of this are indeed very awesome. I just wish the image was higher quality... those are some mighty big .jpg artifacts. I know larger images can be a pain in the butt to upload, but for a fractal this cool, you really need to show it off as best as you can.

Thanks for the thoughtful and respectful critique - and compliment. I appreciate them both.
As to quality, it is always something I have struggled with, right from the start, and something I knew I would eventually have to tackle. To be honest, it really is just a fact that I haven't looked into producing higher quality images from all the software I use (but mainly FE and Photoshop).
You've given me the kick in the pants i needed. I thank-you for that. Google and Help files - here i come (well, when i have a few moments to myself)!!
Take care!!

Haha. You are too good my friend. Can't put one by you!
But you are only partially correct! This is actually a brand new piece - not a variation of an older piece. FE has a lot of repetition in it (as do all of the fractal generating software). You can start with, or create an frs file, wherein you can find a similar pattern that you have seen/used before. That is the case here. I knew I had submitted a piece with a similar pattern in it, but coming upon this pattern again, at a later date, and in a different mood perhaps, I went a different route with it, and came of with this. I hope this is clear, or mildly interesting!
Thanks Frank!

Yes I know about the repetition in fractal software. It's one reason I do not make new fractals right now. Besides that, my progam (quadrium|flame) doesn't have a big community it lacks of resources that bring in new influences. It's the old Mac problem - cool but lonely
