aFor those who don't know Marie used to deal with a very bad depression which was caused from her mother passing away while she was still very itty bitty. She hasn't fully gotten over it and did used to have suicidal thoughts...but has never acted upon them. When she first came to the dreamworld she didn't want to be there and just tried staying asleep. when she DID go out exploring she found the place alot better then the reality of earth.. and at times never wanted to wake up. After finding out some dead people were there too she thought maybe if she died she'd be able to stay there forever. She never did try to kill herself and thanks to a bit of dusts bunny therapy as well as her finding out alot of people (and one very special person) she cares about in the Dreamworld are in the real world she's gotten better at waking up in the morning and actually wanting to wake up in hopes she might find one of them.

Also some fun facts. Her family isn't the richesst in the world. it's somewhere between Poor and Middle class. Her dad struggled from time to time (the shadow is a supposed to be her dad but i suck hahahaa) even so he tries his darnest to take care of Marie and give her things she needs and wants (within reason.)
