Description

The Aeneas is an extremely rare STC design, dating from the chaotic Post-Heresy period and is produced on less than a dozen worlds. The Aeneas is a squat, angular six-wheeled vehicle with slightly less armor than a Chimera but with the agility and handling of a wheeled vehicle. The Aeneas’ armament is perfect for highly-mobile warfare with a turret-mounted Executioner-pattern plasma cannon, a missile launcher, and both bow and pintle-mounted heavy stubbers. The Aeneas is commonly issued to Imperial Guard units specializing in armored reconnaissance and hit-and-run tactics where speed is of the essence. This vehicle often replaces Sentinel and Salamander squadrons in other regiments. Variants include mortar and multiple launch rocket vehicles, anti-aircraft, and a tank hunter mounting the feared Vanquisher cannon.
