I assume you've figured this out already, but Iray caps the render time at 2 hours, so you need to increase the 'Seconds' slider to maximum, and then end it when you feel it is finished. I also increase the 'Quality' slider to like 100, just to be sure it doesn't finish prematurely.
You should re-do this scene/image with a larger size and increased run time. It deserves a nice render of the scene.
Also, I've heard if you render the image over-sized, and then shrink it down afterwards you get better quality per time. So if you want an image to be 2000x1000, you render it at 4000x2000 and then shrink it down to the size you wanted in post work. Currently, I'm trying 6000x4500 render size and then shrinking it to 4000x3000.

Youre right figured this out already.
But in this case (the time the image was rendered) I thought that 4 hours and 98% would be enough.
will try again with your tip at max and 100%
