What a perfect portrait!! This capture the moment "before". I think that Pinkie Pie destiny's was marked from was born. And the color confirm that supposition. She's different. Her father knows, pony endurance by his life style, all the family knows, and the sadness in pinkie pie face is because she not reaching yet, her destiny. She knows, deeply inside, that living in a farm rock, not is the way,not for her. The same "momentum" when she watches the sonic rainboom made by RD, is like 5 seconds before she get into the house (that look like a school). Therefore, if she doesn't stop with the little rock, she will be always Pinkamena Diane Pie, the sadness pony, frustrated cause not reach her real "SHE", and would have lose FOREVER the element of laughter. I love Pinkie Pie story, and she is, by far, my favorite pony.

This perfectly captures the feeling of the time. The sternness of the parents is instantly obvious, and Pinkie's sadness stands out too. Her sisters though, their stances and expressions are exactly what I'd expect for that kind of family: one is aloof and very still, not wanting to even think something that would upset her parents, and the youngest one is quietly looking so hard for some sign of hope in her father's face. It fixes Pinkie's plight as being a family-wide problem.
The ponies and picture itself are all drawn well, then made perfect with the slight fading and all those cracks. Is the frame stock? Also your signature blended in so well because I'm so used to seeing little numbers and notes on these kind of old photos. (If I were a whippersnapper it probably would have punched me in the face.
