In all honesty, Minerva didn't want to be part of this whole raid ordeal because she doesn't know where she stands at this point. Unfortunately, for her, there's no spots as 'observers' so she has to put up with guard-camp duty. And, of course, Hazel (her adoptive daughter) is the first one she goes to.

Part of her wants to run away from all of this, bUT she doesn't want repeat something she has been doing for almost all her life. The few feline friends (Milon, Vulcan, Seidon, Ethan, Kostenlos, Hazel, Cicero, Chara, Trivia, Faolin etc.) are practically the only thing keeping her calm/sane within the empire(s). Reasons to fight though...that's a complete different story. Some fighting reflexes might kick in when her friends are in danger but- other than that she feels completely lost.
