Her confidence on her own abilities are pretty high. Even if there's an obstacle that clearly looks impossible to do, she will never look down on her abilities. This tends to happen a lot when big cats pick on her, sure her size makes her look like the underling. However, her boast of self-confidence makes her stand out. - Flirtatious

Whether you're female or male, she will flirt most of the times. It's not an attempt to find a mate, but for her own pure entertainment. She finds it rather funny to make anyone flustered, and sometimes, if need be, she might attempt to seduce her opponent in order to escape a battle or a death situation. - Tease

She's not afraid to correct others with her knowledge, and sometimes this snobby quality of hers makes others find her irritating. And since she used to be a loner Serval, before encountering the empires, she's kinda used to being alone. If your cat happens to befriend her, she may open up. However, it all depends if your cat can put up with her insufferable personality. - Oblivious

~Background~
"What once was mine..."
Minerva had vague memories of her family, due to a vacuous incident at a young age. In Rome, when the humans acknowledged her parents for having cubs, they took the four cats out of the pits to somewhere safe and warm where their cubs could be better taken care of. However, when the serval cubs were roughly around 3 months of age Minerva curiously ran away from her family to give chase on a tantalizing fuzzball. A fuzzball which was really a passerby rat. "H-hey! Wait up mister!" Minerva squeaked, unaware that the creature deliberately lured her away from her family. However, just when her prey was about to turn around and lung at her—another feline came to her rescue, Trivia. Of course she was young so she wasn't aware that she was in any danger, fortunately the other feline came when she did. Needless to say, Trivia was unable to trace Minerva's parents after chasing off the rodent.

Two months later her mother-like caretaker came so close to track them down—but it was far too late. Rumors spread like wildfire, saying they had escaped the city thanks to Minerva's dad, Aron. Nonetheless, around a week after the news of her mother, Mabel, being cooped up in the pits reached the young serval's ears. At that time Minerva was 5 months old and, thanks to Trivia's mom, Faolin, she was able to slip past the guards and visit her mom in the Colosseum pits. Her mother was still caring, lovable, everything you would perceive in a mother figure... really. Nothing change except the additional bruises she got when she went back to the city to assist Aron. Sadly time was cut short and Mabel urgently informed Minerva to go to the land of the empires where her brother, Niam, could be found. Trivia reassured Minerva that she would look after her mother, but it was still hard for the 5 month old Serval to leave them behind. She wanted to stay but the sound of human footsteps caused her to be alerted and run off, like she was told. Thanks to her cub size, she was able to be undetected and slip through the city's wall. And with a heavy burden weighing her heart, she padded towards the wild—away from Rome. Least, her real mother knew about the rodent incident, knowing now that her daughter really did loved them. Furthermore, Mabel had someone to comfort her, right? That alone eased Minerva's heart...a little at least.

Once the cub reached 11 1/2 months of age, the Serval was no longer the shy and innocent feline she was perceived to be. Her personalty changed from being all 'sweet' into turning to a self-confident feline. She was alone for 5 1/2 months so—nobody can really blame her, right? This new personality of hers did made it difficult to gather friends, but she was no longer the type to sulk. If anything, she grew used to being alone to really care about it. Throughout her alone travel, she managed to live by eating small things, like rats and fishes from certain lakes. Whenever she encountered a bigger threat she tended to use her speed to her advantage, most of the time. She's wasn't the type to engage in fighting, since she found it unnecessary to get her fur/claws dirty. However, if need be she will defend herself against big predators. Along her journey her family's memory crossed her mind, due to growing up with them for 5 months. She missed everyone but not enough to turn back or look for them, her lust for knowledge on what was beyond the wild was more of an importance for the young serval. Least, she kept telling herself that. Assuming that they were all already dead. Within a few weeks of traveling several miles she eventually turned 1 yr old and then stumble upon the empires. The Fire Empire. This is where the newcomer serval has yet to experience her journey within the empires, and that of the bounty hunters. AND—to perhaps reunite with her long lost brother and father.

It was near dusk, rain didn't fell as heavily but for Minerva that wasn't what made this day the worst day ever. It had been several months since the serval arrived in the empires, especially the Fire Empire. Among those months she gained many friends (Kostenlos, Seidon, Vulcan, Ethan, Milon, Octavian, Chara, Cicero, Santino, Ajax, Tephra, Essoby, etc.) and lots of memorable experiences. Even found something she didn't see in herself and that was being a mother towards a small leopard, Hazel. Everything was turning for the better, yet it didn't last long. At August 3rd of 46 BC, near dusk, she remained in the camp as a 'camp guard'. Like her time at Rome, she was planning on running off to avoid confronting in the war/raid lines. Minerva wasn't much of a fighter anyways and she had a hunch everyone was experienced enough to protect themselves. BUT there was one cub she couldn't turn herself away from, and that was her adopted daughter. Against her will, she forced herself to take in one of the positions as a guard. Attentively watching over the small leopard as she played a game of puddles with the other fire cubs. Upon seeing the hunters, it was as if a grey hurricane had descended in the camp. There was bloodshed, outcries, screaming, sprinting, you name it!
Minerva recalled Ethan spatting 'Where's hazel?' and...to her fear a hunter, Kallen, had found the spot where the serval last stashed her daughter. (Along with a friend, Rael) 'Hazel! I'm coming!' She didn't ever picture herself uttering that as her last words towards Hazel. Right before she received a good slash across her cheek and body by the hunter. Afterwards losing consciousness and being swept away from the Fire Empire. Once again, taken away from what once was hers.

This Bobcat was my mentor, one that is very hard to please or tease. She disrupted my sleep over calling me out to train one day too! Rude. We didn't train much since I lacked a variety of skills, in her opinion. And from that day I haven't seen her since. Was I really that much of a let down? Eh...doesn't matter, anyway. I was never fond of training from the start, and I never had any mentors that relied on me...so it isn't anything I should be upset over. Nothing new.

-- She hates it when she gets her fur all dirty. Especially her fabulous mane.
-- One of her favorable things to do with newcomers (new felines) is to mess around with their heads. Minerva would play the role of 'the bad cat' and scare the living lights of the other cat, if able to. This is where most of her teasing side comes to play. -- She loves feathers. In which case, you'll never see her attack birds. They are wonderful/treasured creatures, in her opinion.
-- As for armor, she doesn't believe armor would be of any use and would wear something fashionable (small accessories) instead of 'fighting' material. Most of the times she would also have one left earring feather on her.
-- Her strength is nothing powerful, but one of her battle tactics is to use her claws efficiently. It's one of her favorable weapons, besides speed.
-- This serval is light on her feet/paws. Meaning she can run quite fast, climb trees with ease, and jump at high lengths.
-- She starts to feel a bit uneasy if a bug is on her. It's one of her biggest fears because she considers them as 'filthy things'. (Sand and dirty water applies to this as well)
-- And lastly, she has a keen sense of smell. She can pick up on a scent miles away, however this ability becomes rather useless when it's raining.

Although, this doesn't mean she won't EVER find a mate. If you take the time to get to know her and when the time comes... she might one day pick a mate. Armor & Items/Precious Belongings
Minerva believes armors aren't that useful for battles. She's more interesting in the 'beauty' appearance than anything. Items you would usually see on her are things like; feathers, necklaces, diamonds, ect. You would hardly ever see her wearing something 'heavy'. This trait was possibly carried from her father, since he doesn't believe in armors as well.
White (left) feather earring was the first item given to Minerva, and it rightfully belonged to her mother. Mabel. She would never dream of going anywhere without this. Her double feathered necklace was given to her by the lovely CHARA. The lioness saw how much Minerva really loved feathers, and so she decided to gift her a similar feathered necklace like hers. (An item that Chara's mother gave her) Minerva has yet to reunite with her family, so this item means a lot more than Chara knows. If anything, the accessories share a significance towards her mothers. The white feathered earring reminds her of her mother, which was an albino serval. The double feathered necklace reminds her of her adoptive mother and grandmother. (pink for Trivia, and purple for Faolin). Amber stone was found in one of Air Empire's underground caverns. Found by Octavian and given to Minnie as a gift. Minerva then made a gold necklace out of it so she could take it wherever she ventured off to. This item she wears when she wants to be the most prettiest, OR when she wants to pay a visit to her dear companion.
Blue-violet scarf with dark owl feather prints was given to her by Seidon. She also cherishes this because it reminds her of the beautiful sea she witnessed for the first time thanks to her white lion friend. It's also soft and nice to cuddle with, but not as 'soft' as Seidon's mane. { to be added to app soon}

so sorry for getting to this super late! but-
Yup! Minerva was captured by the bounty hunters. Inevitably getting bought by a human; which is why she now has the title as 'pet' c: As for the escape, me and a couple of friends, have actually talked about the escape plan! yes. BUT we haven't covered details over it just yet. So you'll just have to wait and see ^-^ ( everything isn't set on stone though....so this could turn out different in the near future. We'll see )

Glad to hear that! And poor minnie, being captured like that.. Well when she returns she'll find a lot of good news ^^ I was asking since my fire empire cheetah, Szafir is going to be captured very soon, and since those two are both from fire, they might attempt an escape together or something(?) I'm not sure how they'd meet though, since Szafir was a wanted cat, now captured and locked in a cage, while Minerva is a pet serval. Meh, I'm thinking too much about something that didn't even happen

WE DID TALK ABOUT THE CITY LIFE PART BUT- yeeeah, I had a talk with the admins and they said Minerva had to go through trails in order to freely roam the city with Aemie. SO, given how stubborn Minerva is with trusting hunters, I had to make her a 'pet'. Now she's somewhat happy prowling the city life with your big teddy bear. Which I'm planning to do more ART soon! I just haven't got around it yet |'D
