thats why I dont read anymore. I didnt read any that last comment, the one I'm repling to now. If there is new information that comes into existance and i find it of interest, i just absorb it. Keep it simple. Cut out the middle man, no need for internet browsers.

3-Elements-of-Grey In reply to notAlex [2006-10-06 14:07:17 +0000 UTC]
That works, but how will people know you absorbed said info? Or do you just not care?

I dont care what others know that i know. I know what i know and i know that knowing that is all that is worth knowing. Besides...if they all knew that they dont know everything that i know what i know then they'd want to know what i know and thats just too much work on my part.

3-Elements-of-Grey In reply to notAlex [2006-10-06 22:27:14 +0000 UTC]
Ah but, if they knew that you know what you know than they'd know too. There wouldn't be any wanting to know what you know anymore. Problem solved.

notAlex In reply to 3-Elements-of-Grey [2006-10-06 22:43:57 +0000 UTC]
no, no, no. you miss-understand. See, They would only know that I know something that they do not know, but they don't know what the something is. They only know that it is there. Its like looking book with the title scratched off. You don't know whats in it, but there is content inside. So you open it to find out what it is.

Yeah I realized I missed a few details in that reply...but hey, live and learn. Besides, if I hadn't I would never have heard that awesome book analogy.

Thanks! I like analogies like that. Living and learning is the best way to do things, better than live, don't learn, and die next time.

Here here! Although I think it'd be sweet to just go adventuring all day insted of school. Such is life though, stupid reality.

notAlex In reply to 3-Elements-of-Grey [2006-10-09 19:49:48 +0000 UTC]
Yeah I agree...adventuring through woods and creek beds is way better than learning. I'd rather swing a sword like an idiot than sit in an office all day for a career. Living here in the city sure makes me crave that suburb/country area that I'm used to. I'm sad now.

Oh good...in that case I don't have to throw that line from Serenity at you. You know, the one about when men fail as you have they would throw themselves on thier blades.

lol, it's funny that the "throwing" seemed to entail falling pathetically.

3-Elements-of-Grey In reply to notAlex [2006-10-18 02:39:18 +0000 UTC]
well that's really more of a historical problem...one can't "throw" oneself. Stupid expressions.

notAlex In reply to 3-Elements-of-Grey [2006-10-18 05:30:25 +0000 UTC]
What if you sat in a catapult and then pulled the lever to fire it? You might argue the catapult did the throwing. true but its only an object to be used by a person to accomplish thier goals. This message for instance...did deviant art send it to you. no. Alex did useing DA as a means of communication.

3-Elements-of-Grey In reply to notAlex [2006-10-18 14:19:01 +0000 UTC]
Very true, and right on. But when one "throws oneself" on their sword they aren't useing any device to do the throwing. Now if there was some form of machine that chucks you at a sword, then you could throw yourself on your sword.
All that said, I do understand it's simply a phase and a darn nifty one at that inspite of it's physical imposibility.
