I know this is old, but I just thought it'd be interesting to note that, apparently, Mew was a completely secret Pokemon even to many people who worked on the game, including Nintendo themselves, and was added at the last minute. If Mew had come any sooner in the Pokedex and left a blank spot before Mewtwo, the secret would have been spoiled c: It also kind of makes sense because you do infact meet Mewtwo first, if you meet Mew at all, since she was only mentioned in lab reports. She is the first secret legendary, and her existence gave rise to the many "Pokegods" that we invented as kids. And I'm glad it worked out that way!

how is it that mewtwo is # 150 if its a clone of mew
