tick on 2 sides only on parts what have same probles. its on same wher textures writen in.
And save ass new some parts of hair to make normal view off hair. Hm i think ineed to do tutorial how to save as new and save ass one.Ill give you to cnow when it will be.

im converting a xps model to pmx via mmd tools. the problem is that it happens with every model that i try it with? all addons are there, enabled

Did you instaled corect scripts to blender v2.79 ?

Does this guide help you get the bones to work for mmd too or are they all weird and you have to fix them assuming you know how to do mmd bones well to begin with?

This guide help you to make proper model with les bones for mmd not deleting them but save some bones in 1 bone if model have like 6 bones in leg but you need only 4.
And hov to make IK bones.

Yea well we all leran 
and i think il feal bad if with this knowledge i didnt help others to know how todo it. (Once i deleted model with 100000000000 bones that day i didnt know how to do it now its for DL)
