But in her heart-of-hearts, TK knew that she wasn't going to make it all the way to the heavy door...and wasn't entirely sure what she would do if she did. Obviously, she wanted to get through it if she could, but it was closed and she had no idea of exactly how to make it open. The control panel mounted beside the heavy metal slab looked a bit more complex than a simple "open" and "close" button-arrangement...and even if it was that simple, the glue-bots certainly weren't going to give her the time to figure out which of the myriad buttons would do the trick. TK growled anxiously as she felt a glue-blob splatter across the floor just behind her right foot, clinging to the sole of her sneaker for just the ghost-of-a-second, before momentum pulled her loose without breaking her stride...

Then, one of the robots suddenly shot up alongside the fleeing tigress and started to arc in ahead of her, moving to cut her off. TK jerked to a halt and leapt backward so abruptly that her knees gave a bone-jarring protest of pain. She narrowly managed to avoid the sudden bombardment of glue which hammered in toward her, and which drove her into a fast-stepping backpedal just to stay ahead of the storm. Worse still, from the corner of her eye she caught the other one setting up for a matching assault, angling in from off to her right.

With one blind, backward-launching leap, the spry tiger-girl bounded out of their line of fire. Losing ground in her journey toward that far door in the process...but escaping the perilous crossfire into which she had been forced. The respite only lasted for a moment though, as the flying robots adjusted instantly and streaked toward her again without a second's hesitation. More glue-shots were landing around her as TK became aware that she was in front of that other, open doorway - and she knew she had only one option: Take cover within.

There would be nothing stopping the hovering machines from following her of course, but she had to do something break the momentum of this latest stretch of their ongoing battle. Plus, as the things came through the opening, their field of motion would be restricted, hopefully allowing her to go on the attack and ambush them as they did so...
