I hate mistakes, but I realize the truth behind making mistakes...
Learning to let go of what does not serve you and your art
is also never a mistake....I also enrolled in a Intuitive Art Class
where you don't plan your photos or art, you just start
taking photos of anything and see where that leads you...
They say its difficult at first but pretty soon a person learns
how to shoot from the hip, not from the brain...
I too will be making a lot of mistakes in the coming year....Cheers to you

I am a big believer in "shooting from the hip while taking
photographs.
The Intuitive Art Class sounds really interesting, I can relate
to it's principles.

My first attempt at being a groupie was with Yahoo groups
and they kicked me out because my work was so bad...Honest....
Then I came here to DA and watched and listened and learned
from the friends I made here...Being kicked out of Yahoo was
not a mistake, it was an opportunity to find those 1 or 4 people
who were willing to look beyond my raw efforts...And that is
Real Friendship...Rare to find today, and very wonderful

Okay we have alot of fun together up in the Great Lake Region...Whats the Snow Suit ..Boots.
And what layers you have under it...Gloves..ski glove be the best..Right?...Durango RT AWD trailer with a 750cc 4wheeler....I have always wanted to ice fish...I love all forms of fishing and have salt and fresh since 5yrs old both my Grandfathers loved the Beaches Jettys and Fishing Piers as well as Captain Mikes Miss Chris 1 2 3 Party Boat Fishing...I love the Ocean and Mountains...I have fished so early in AM needed Waders and DownCoat Wool and Cotton Black Facemasks on the Water and on the Beaches at night Surf fishing all nighters for Weakies Stripers and Big Blue Fish.
Its all good but you need Winter and Waterproof to do the Hard Core Fishing Scene..

From now until March there is no sex differences between the fisherpersons...
We don't generally know if the person fishing on the ice next to us is male
or female unless one or the other has to go to the bathroom...then you know
when the person is squatting or is standing up to urinate...
Its all about the layers, 4 or 5 layers, we all look like roly poly little santas
out on the ice..
I have gone through the ice into the lake, you never keep your coats or boots
buttoned or tied up on the ice...you have to get out of them fast if you do fall in,
and you waste precious energy trying to get out of wet clothes and tread water
at the same time...
When or if you do fall in, the cold water takes everything you got, your limbs go
numb really fast and you just get kind of mind twisty, you fight a little but after
a few moments there is a calm that comes upon you and you go with that calm.
It is a really strange experience, I survived because someone grabbed a gaff
hook and dragged me up and out of the water before it was too late...
The real pain starts when you are all wet and mind twisty and you hit that
arctic air while totally wet...You never think you will ever ever ever get warm
again....You only got to fall in one time Mark to learn a really good lesson out
on the ice in the middle of winter....

We grew up around a big swamp in the middle of all the 100k Homes..lol So on a Winter day we went back to the fort..well you cross a Creek 6 8ft wide and same deep plus thick nasty grey clay..Scott 20+lbs crossed over the ice..No cracking so he jumped incase it warmed that day..As i was half across the floor dropped out from me and forward motion I went in to my neck
Reaching to grab the 2inch thick edge knowing in this CreeknI go under im gone downstream.....
While this was happening Scott recrosed and grabbed my hood..pulling me back until he got his arms under mine and pulled me from the Creek both falling back...We new it wasnt over and both got up and started jogging back the mile to his house...We got in and stripped and im texting you Today...One of my many Adventures I dont to tell
Very Often..Ice Fishing is All You...Trucks go thru faster and easier...LOL

Yea best to back off you here cracking..some times you drop thru no warning...alcohol well i cant talk i was riding an alcohol buzz most of my Wilderness play trips with my crew...When we wentvto Vermont i was buzzed 2weeks straight...
And it doesnt keep you warm ot makes you cold and you sweat more..all not good....never drank when riding the dirt bikes our 70 mile thru the Pines and Back...cant be doing that..you will get hurt...sooner or later...saved a few lives people tagging along our 12 quads and bikes....

We rode with a group from work, I did not go one weekend, and when
Monday rolled around at 8 am and my friend was still not at work, I had
a bad feeling about the situation....
His wife called work and said on Sunday, after heavy drinking and the Packer game,
my friend was out on the trails and ran through a barb wire fence that was neck
high attached to two trees....The Wire Fence tore his head off and she found him
later when he never returned from the ride...
I learn from my friends mistakes Mark...It is the best legacy they can leave us
