Chance Came In With The Snowstorm Today...
He was waiting so patiently to get into the
nest I built for my little birds, very rare to
see the patience of the Hawks and Eagles
in my own garden, so every time Chance
and Bryce show up to visit, it is a real
treat for me.

Chance came back today, and he flew into my little home made bird nest,
he is more wary of me and all I had to do after photographing him
was tell him " You go home now" and off he flew....
The baby Bryce is more naive of humans, he is not to sure what I am yet.....LOL

I was going to blow it up just for his beautiful face, but
could not resist showing those talons and strong feet...
As soon as Chance and Bryce show up, all my
squirrels go flat in the tree branches and start
screaming and every bird flees for their lives...

He came back today again and didn't fool around posing
for me...Right into the little nest I built...Scared us all, and
after I told him to go home, out popped little Sallie the squirrel
from the nest and she just laid flat on the board and screamed to warn all the
others that the Chance was in the area...
Its a zoo here...and I love it....LOL

or for a bookcover or album...If I cannot remove it for those reasons, I do
not post it to group ...

Fantastic plumage and shot against the white wood background really makes it stand out. I imagine in amongst the trees and branches he would be nearly invisible..... just the red eyes seeing everything.

I put the wood up so Chance would have a harder time getting into the little birds nest,
and now he sits on the plywood and watches and listensΒ for the chirping...
It is not really a pretty scene to casual viewers driving by my Casa, it looks like plywood city...LOL

Just realized after I posted this that it almost looks like a Wanted Poster in the Post Office....
The Bird Nest I build is behind the board Chance is standing on, He is waiting patiently to turn and
dive into it....He did not succeed, but He will be back soon, I am willing to bet good money on it...
