For once I actually put a lot of deliberate symbolism in here people so have fun with it. I really enjoyed making it a lot of morbid beautiful imagery, I actually think that this is my favorite PIC to date.Related content

I like the open spaces, a nice change from your usual fair. I hardly even notice the blade cutting the head in half. It is almost relaxing or calming. Like a gental breeze is blowing the lamp in the corner. yah, I am in a weird mood.

Well there is actually a gentle breeze blowing in the picture as her shirt and hair are moving. One of the things that I like to do with this pictures is have a bunch of gentle imagery covering up the violence that is going on it the picture also.

You always like to put layers one layers in your art.

The only thing that bothers me is trying to figure out the "deliberate symbolism" about blows my mind. Please WHAT IS GOING ON

Carman is not not amount of comments that I get, i just like hearing from you becuase you are my friend and that makes your opinion of my art mean that much more to me. I sorry that I have not got to comment on your pictures lately, I have not been on line recently. Well I will give you some of my deliberate symbolism. The crossed crosses with the nose around it is my conflicting feelings about faith and religion. The nose is that I feel like hang your own personality or feelings on things for religion. I am pretty sure the girls head being split in half with a mirror was just that I had a headache that day. I very expressive way of conveying very simmple things.

And I knew that I had to made a serious comment on here since you put some serious thought into the picture.
First of all, its just full of life! So much is going on that you don't know what to look at first!
Though I can't figure out what the figure is doing with the flat surface, if she is coming out of a mirror or slicing herself with a playing card...
Her hands are bootiful! Again, I can not do that well will drawing hands, you would rock in my drawing class right now.
I do love the crosses with the swirling wriggly thing around it - I don't know what to call it-
Anyway, great job! Keep up the great work! Maybe one day we could publish all you works in a book!
And this is also another reason why I requested a Daily Deviation for one of your pics! We won't know until after March if he chooses you, but hopefully, HE WILL!!

What is a daily devation note? An who is suppose to pick it? and when did you ask me this I am so confused. I love to get my artwork published in book someday, but I do not know how to go about getting it done, but appearntly you do. She is actually pushing a mirror through her head and slicing it in half. I squared off the top of her head in stead of rounded it off so it would so it would mimmic the edge of the mirror. It is not realistic picture anyway so who cares if head in not really high enough. I tried to imply the pushing motion by having the blood smeared on the back side of mirror and having the blood dripping on the front side. The wriggly thing around the crosses is a rope with a noose, although you might not be able to see it as it partially obsured by the girls following shirt. I am so glad that you appreciate the hands they were so hard to draw. They are the best hands that I have ever drawn I doubt that I will ever do hands like that again.

Oh the Daily Deviation, thats when people ask the managers of Da here to feature a picture of a certain artist. Its only taken seriously when you ask for a DD for someone else. They won't take requests for people that ask for their own work. But the person who picks it is a main guy out of the DA managers in the traditional art area. You know the pictures that you see to the right all the time, called the Daily Deviation? Hopefully one of yours will be there, But as he told me, he has his list made up until March, so we will have to see until then.
And i See, pushing through a mirror. THought it was something like that. Yes, I can see it more clearly now that you state it that way. Is there some meaning behind that action? OR was it just random?

The meaning behind the mirror was two fold, I had a spilting head ache so I split her head in half. But before I did that I had tried to draw the other half of the head several times it did not work. Remember I had a head ache so I split her head and why a mirror I am not quite sure. Thanks for explaining watch a Daily Devation was. Maybe I should ask some people on my friends lists if they will suggest my art . That sounds good. I would love to have one of my works featured. although I am not sure it will happen. big hug

Isn't it funny how muses work like that. I have started several idea's that I thought were going to to be grand pictures that go nowhere. Then I do a doodle that turns into something as beautiful as preception go figure.

Thank you I love putting symbolism in my pictures. Not only is tons of fun having people trying to guess what it means, but I can look back on pictures that I did years ago and get an insight to my thoughts and feelings, that I had back then.

Yeah I am following you flatter you. lol This one does have alot of the stylization that you can see in some of my other works like Gothic Imagery, Never Meant to Be and Maids in My Mind. Probably reapers throne also. But most difinately this one is my best work to date and I think that I am finally perfecting my own style. This makes me happy.
