Every Iterator needs a slugcat! Even if the friendship is one sided. This little creature was created by 36 Thousand using the DNA of a medium centipede and a slugcat. Its intended purpose was to transfer energy through shortcuts however it didn't inherit the conductive property of the centipede, instead it only developed the bright orange armor.

While functionally useless to them, 36 Thousand lets them wander around for company and 'lovingly' named it 201.

its armored back makes it immune to surprise spear attacks and when given enough time to react it can curl into a ball to defend itself from lizard bites! The armor is flexible but very heavy, limiting the slugcat to be almost completely quadrupedal other than standing up for short periods of time to look around or reach low hanging fruits. This leaves its soft belly exposed which is a notable weakness. Additionally when threatened the slugcat secretes a thick slime from its tail, capable of temporarily gluing hungry mouths shut after escape.

Due to the hard shell this slugcat often gets stuck in pipes and takes a while to get out. This slugcat prefers to eat meat but will eat fruits and other flora when in need.
