I do believe this is the coolest-looking Lapras ever created. The barnacles and texture of his shell look fantastic. Very realistic, especially that overhead lighting. Easy favorite

I love this picture so much.
The lighting and shading is very well done and the seaweed, barnacles and the background makes this seem as if it was a picture.
I would love to see a picture that dealt with other Water-type PokΓ©mon swimming under it, like in a coral reef.
Love the shell's realistic shading and form.

I'm not really a huge fan of pokemon as a player but I love the designs of most of the pokemon and this is an amazing picture. Critique wise I have nothing to say that hasn't been said already except maybe tone down the barnacles next time. lol My favourite part of this piece has got to be that shell and the water drops on the "camera". Something else I can't stop staring at is that cone of light in the distance, is it another pokemon? Humans? Or just some light shining through the clouds? XD

I'm not surprised; the texture, color and reflectivity of water is very hard to get perfectly right, especially when you're trying to make a computer model of it.

Honestly, Lapras may be my favourite water pokemon. It's not because of its moveset... it's because I feel I could ride on its back and swim into the ocean. I guess I have an affinity for water. We'd make the perfect pair... the two of us could swim our hearts out and I'd never have to worry about making it back to shore! Trainer lifeguards are for newbs! (However, real-life human lifeguards are awesome.)
