Alright, first off, I did NOT create this image, nor do I claim credit. I simply cut the image from it's background for use in Signatures and other Photo manipulations.All credit goes to the creators of Transformers it's and various sub-creators.
Note: This was probably one of the hardest Renders I've ever cut out. The highlights on his shoulders were really hard to render, thus the blurred look on some of the edges.

You mean, cut out? I didn't make this, of course. I used GIMP to cut it from the Background. - 3D

Brush/Paths/Wand Depending on the situation. Generally I box the render in really tight, then I go over it with a sharp-edged brush. Then, I grab a soft brush and touch up the edges. Once finished with that, I blur any deformities from the edges. Sometimes I have to draw parts back in (Note the odd spot on the bottom left...). I think that's it. - 3D
