How do you get this splatters from light into dark? 0o

Oh it's easy! ^^
1. use the 'lasso' tool to put a big circle around the whole splat
2. use the 'move' tool and put it back in it's original place [using this tool just puts the lasso around every little detail, instead of having to laboriously go around every little dot and corner 
3. then you just use that tool that shades things XD or well... it's in here if you don't know what i'm talking about [link] you can select any color for it c:
