I'd say as a challenge to you to try to make size/proportion differences but you might have a lot on your plate already xD (that and I'm just a weird person who's a stickler for height differences in characters)

I might try it, I did think about it earlier, but really the only thing that get's in the way if the preview image required if an animation is larger than 150px x N

and well, I make the frames in mspaint, often times I use a base model used for the previous ones, and just add on to customize each one.
Then I animated them on iaza.com .u.

smaller pixels are more compact, so the flaws are less easier to see despite the smaller area taken up .3.
