Amazing. I'm interested in developing some papercraft with your model if you are aware, papercraft can really look nice on this shmups. Just for fun and only with your permission of course, i could do the unfolding and testing if i had the model or the obj i think.

Go ahead and do it, but I suggest you to base on the original, but you are free to choice. Try not to create so many finer details sense they are artifacts of 3D that I would rather they be gone XD

Great model and wonderful composition! I would seriously consider rendering your model in an external program, though. I don't know all too much about Autodesk Inventor. Is it possible to export your model as an .obj file?

I need to check the software, never used export format before, buy the way, what kind program use .obj format? I think I saw that before but can't remember exactly. Things will be much easier if your program is also made by Autodesk.

Sorry for replying a little late here. I am still on vacation ;3. .obj is a quite neat format. Most 3D programs use it (examples would be 3DSMax and Autodesk Maya). Since you're using an Autodesk program for creating 3D objects it should be possible to convert your models into .obj format. After exporting your models you'll be able to render them in Zoorender or Maya (using Mental Ray).

glad to hear that. The trouble is that how do I sent you the model, that thing is >20MB,,, I guess email would be ok if your account allow you to upload >10MB per mail. You can download a free trail or student version of inventor via student community: [link]
