Description The most powerful allied prop-driven fighter of it's time Chance Vought F4U-1a Corsair.
"W"-shaped wings and 2000 hp engine. And half-dozen of good ol' cal.50's just in case some IJN/IJA Japs were willing to challenge the "whistling death".

I wanted to make a new papermodel, although not too complicated (less than 3 pages) so I've looked for some cute models I'm having in my vast archive of downloads. The build itself was not as easy as it seemed at first look
-mostly because of it's small size (140mm in length), no structural reinforcement, and not in last place my ability of making things more complicated as they are (build of the cockpit and forming the transparent canopy) Not a jewel in terms of the beauty of built-model, but decent result for a 2-day's work.

Thinking of it... I have to look for some nice model of P-47 (not the razorback).
