I love making scale models! I once made a scale model of a band-stage with scale model drum set (complete with symbols) scale model keyboard, microphones (with power cords attached) amplifiers (sp?) stage, curtains, and lighting rig... Oh, an electric guitar too! It rocked so hard. I loved it. I used to do that kind of stuff ALL THE TIME!!!

But my models usually didn'd make more than year of living, mostly due to fact I'm having young Bro, which loves to play with'em, and I'm not able to say You can't.
Really "rare" hoby among girls..at least I never experienced any..and I regularly visit conventions. But the painting is one step next to scale modelbuilding, and in that field the girls are superior in numbers. But I've never visited any painting, or sculpturing course (to my misfortune).

Well, I build them from scratch. I don't buy kits, so they're made up of what ever I can find. It's my artistic nature to create.

I admire you, and people which are capable of making scratchbuild of figures -it requires "mastership" in both -drawing and sculpting - I tried, and I failed ( politely said: "anatomically inpersuasive"

I'm a "measure-holic" hehe. In otherwords, I use my ruler like crazy. So I'm alway taking measurements of full-sized things and using a little math to scale it down to a smaller size.
